If you submit a comment onto our blog, the name and address which you have entered with your comment will be saved to this websites database along with the IP Address of the device being used and a time stamp. This information is only used to identify you as a contributor and is not passed onto any further data processors.

Our site has an embedded contact form which is used for enquiries and general questions from website visitors. The information captured by this contact form is stored in our websites database and is solely used for us to contact customers and enquirers. The information is not passed onto any further data processors.

6.3 Dreamhost

The virtual servers we use are located in Ashburn, Virginia. Raging Wire who manage the data centres for Dreamhost have implemented strict rules to ensure the data stored on these servers is kept secure. In doing this they have become Privacy Shield Certified, one of the main criteria for being GDPR compliant in the US. The information that may be stored in the data centres may include your:

Device Identifiers
Email Address
Phone Number

Your Name, Email Address and Phone number will only be captured if you choose to submit them through either our contact form or one of our blogs.

For website optimization and security purposes logs are captured on our websites and stored in our Virtual Private Servers. These logs include basic information such as time stamp and IP address. These logs are not used for commercial purposes in any form and will not be utilised to identify you personally.

Search4local Ltd will take appropriate technical precautions to ensure the security of your data.

Your data will be stored on secure servers, personal computers and mobile devices under password authenticated accounts.
